Sawn with chipped edges, 30 mm thick tumbled paving stones made of Mezhirichka granite is the best design solution to create an atmosphere of the old city on a minimal budget. As direct manufacturers, let’s share the secret of how we make it:
- at the first stage, we deliver blocks from the Mezhirichsky granite quarry to our production. As a rule, these are blocks of brown, red and red-brown shades. We saw them into 20 cm thick slabs on large milling machines;
- then we cut these massive granite slabs into strips 30 mm thick and 20 cm high;
- at the third stage, using a stone splitting press, we split the strips of granite into paving stones with a format of 10×10 cm. The edges of each tile are quite even, as they are obtained by sawing or splitting the stone;
- tumbling is the last treatment. On it, in fact, the transformation of sawn-split paving stones into sea pellets takes place.
As a result of a sequence of such operations, we get a tumbled red-brown granite paving stone Mezhyrichka (Mezherichka). Its front surface is very smooth, and absolutely not slippery. The outer edges of each stone are smoothed, as if it had lain on the granite pavement of the old part of Ternopil or Lutsk, Ukraine for several centuries.
